The first-ever class in xam (ancient folk songs performed by blind
beggars) for primary and junior high school students has opened in the
northern province of Ninh Binh''s Yen Mo District.
A show of folk songs for blind beggars, known as
xam in Vietnamese, was held on Monday, in northern province of Ninh Binh
to commemorate local late artisan Ha Thi Cau and praise her
contributions to the preservation of the art.
